Entertatainment and Events

Music has a unique way of bringing people together. Throughout the Recovery Dharma Global Summit, you’ll have opportunities to relax, connect, and celebrate with fellow attendees through live music and shared rhythm.

Join us Friday evening for live performances by members of our Recovery Dharma community, then return Saturday night for a community drum circle where everyone is invited to participate—whether you bring an instrument or simply come ready to enjoy the experience.

We hope you’ll join us for these special gatherings as we celebrate recovery, friendship, and community together.

Meet the Facilitator

Ashley Spain, MT-BC is a board-certified music therapist, accredited Drum Circle Facilitators Guild facilitator, certified Village Music Circles Global trainer, and founder of Dynamic Rhythms, LLC.

Ashley has facilitated drum circles throughout the Charlotte area for many years and volunteers with drumSTRONG, helping raise funds for cancer survivorship and research through community drumming events. As a music therapist, she works with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and teaches both traditional and adaptive music lessons.

Every drum circle Ashley leads is guided by one question:

“What can I do to serve the circle?”

By listening deeply to the rhythms, responding to the group’s energy, and nurturing connection through music, Ashley creates an experience where participants discover joy, creativity, and a shared sense of belonging. Music and rhythm have always been a part of Ashley’s life, and she is excited to share the joy and empowerment they can bring with all of you.
